Having begun his career in project controls and cost accounting, George has grown his professional practice to incorporate project and program management, with accountability for technical and commercial performance. He has direct experience managing large teams, both in a direct line management capacity and via influence in a matrix-structured organisation, in each case making capacity-building and mentoring a key element of my approach.

He has also spearheaded major transformations, turning around underperforming programs to achieve budget and schedule parameters. His experience extends from major resources sector projects in Australia to programs with multinational significance, including management of stakeholders across Asia Pacific and China.
